This format will allow us to reduce long-distance travel and maintain a more positive impact on the environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We will offer the following hubs:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Bielefeld, Germany (Bielefeld University\/CITEC, hub organizer: Thomas Hermann)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Barcelona, Spain (ESMUC, hub organizer: Adrian Garcia Riber) &nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Troy, NY, USA (Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, hub organizer: Jonas Braasch)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">By coordinating keynotes, shared sessions, and cross\u2011hub interactions, the event will retain its international character and single stream conference style, while making participation more accessible and significantly lowering travel-related emissions. &nbsp;Each hub will also offer a regionally tailored program that reflects local strengths and perspectives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This conference is \u2013 as usual \u2013 related to auditory display, sonification, sonic interaction design, multimodal data representation, spatial audio and the like.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We invite you to save the date (July 28-31, 2026) and join us as we shape a soundful community gathering \u2013 one that remains globally connected while taking meaningful steps toward more sustainable academic exchange.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Further information, including the conference theme, deadlines, submission tracks and formats, program and connected events \/ concerts will be announced in mid-January. We will provide a registration form right here as well as payment instructions asap.<br>The deadline for &#8216;early-bird&#8217; registration has been slightly relaxed, the dates and fees will be as follows: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Student\/PhD student early bird registration (until 2026-06-22): 230 EUR&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Student\/PhD student registration (after 2026-06-22): 250 EUR&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Full early bird registration (until 2026-06-22): 300 EUR&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Full registration (after 2026-06-22): 350 EUR<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Where to submit<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Submissions were made via <a href=\"https:\/\/easychair.org\/conferences\/?conf=icad2026\">Easychair<\/a>. Submissions have been evaluated for all categories.
